Daily reportReview & export

Built for the working day

Every movement, properly recorded

Designed around real marine operations, not a generic office timesheet.

Fast, structured logging

Large operational buttons for transfers, push-ons, cargo lifts, arrivals and departures. Correct an action without repeating the entire sequence.

Voice-assisted entries

Say “Logbook” and record common maritime actions with spoken read-back, on supported browsers while the page is visible.

End-of-day DPR

Review the day’s operations and produce a structured Daily Progress Report with the records you captured.

Continue when offline

Record core logbook activity locally with encrypted storage, then synchronise when a connection returns.

Map and vessel context

View available AIS information, your operational area, wind farm assets and weather context. AIS coverage is not guaranteed.

Separate, secure access

Skippers see their own Logbook. Company administrators see their own fleet, users and permitted operational details.

Straightforward subscription options

One Logbook. Two ways to join.

Choose the account that fits your operation. Skippers invited by their company do not pay individually for a licensed company vessel.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the full MusterDeck system?

No. The Logbook has its own sign-up, credentials and access controls. You can use it without the main MusterDeck subscription.

Can I use it with no signal at sea?

The core manual Logbook can save encrypted entries on your device and synchronise them on reconnect. Log in online and prepare offline use before departure; voice and maps may require internet or supported browser services.

Does voice control work in the background?

Speech features depend on browser support and page visibility. Background or locked-screen listening cannot be guaranteed in a web app. Manual logging remains available.

What can a company administrator see?

The company portal manages its vessel licences and user invitations and displays its own operational Logbook activity and available AIS information. Company viewers have read-only access.

Is this an official navigation or compliance system?

No. AIS, forecasts and operational suggestions are supplementary. Always verify navigation, operating procedures, reporting and safety requirements independently.
